In short: this site uses Google Analytics to count visits and clicks, with no advertising features. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland get no analytics cookies. There are no forms or accounts, and nothing is sold or used for ads.
Who runs this site

What is collected
- Server logs. The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the United States. When you visit, Netlify's servers process your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Netlify's privacy policy.
- Visit statistics (Google Analytics). This site uses Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, to count page views, see which sites and links bring visitors (including link tags such as
utm_source), measure scrolling, and count clicks on links to stores and other sites. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising features, ad personalization and data sharing with Google for its own purposes are turned off. - Cookies. Outside the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named
_ga) to tell new visits from returning ones. Inside those regions no analytics cookies are set: the site runs Google's Consent Mode with analytics storage off, so your browser sends Google only basic, cookieless signals that cannot recognise you on a later visit. - Opting out. You can block Google Analytics on every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies or scripts in your browser.
- Nothing else. Fonts and images are served from this site itself. There are no forms, accounts, ads or other trackers.
Links to other sites
Buttons and links to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Spotify and social networks take you to those sites, and their own privacy policies apply there. Those links carry tags (such as utm_source=etaibeck.com) that tell the destination the visit came from this site. The tags contain no information about you.
Visitors in the EU, EEA and UK
Server logs and the cookieless visit statistics described above are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR / UK GDPR): delivering a working, secure website and understanding, in aggregate, how it is used. No analytics cookies are placed on your device. Data is processed in the United States by Netlify and Google under their data-protection terms.
You have the right to ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data about you, to object to its processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email the address above and you'll get an answer within one month.
Changes
If this site changes what it collects, for example by turning on analytics cookies for visitors in Europe, this page will be updated first and consent will be asked where the law requires it.
